Hardness Test (HT)

Hardness testing is an important method for determining a material's resistance to deformation under indentation. This test is offered in accordance with standardized requirements and performed using mobile equipment, providing flexibility and enabling on-site inspections. The results of hardness testing can be measured in various scales, including Vickers, Brinell, and Rockwell, depending on the material and test requirements.

Hardness Testing Offered:

  • Vickers Hardness Test

    • Measures hardness of materials using a diamond pyramid indenter, ideal for small samples and precise measurements.

  • Brinell Hardness Test

    • Used on materials with rougher surfaces, where a steel or ball indenter is used to determine hardness.

  • Rockwell Hardness Test

    • A fast and simple method for measuring material hardness using a diamond cone or steel ball indenter.

Benefits of Hardness Testing:

  • Flexibility: Hardness testing is performed with mobile equipment, allowing for on-site inspections without the need to transport materials.

  • Standardized: The test follows recognized standards and methods, ensuring reliable and accurate results.

  • Versatility: Can be applied to various materials and customized to specific hardness measurement requirements.

  • Quick Results: The test provides rapid results that can be used to assess material properties and quality.

Hardness testing is an essential method for ensuring the quality of materials and components across a range of industries and applications.
